The procedure is executed via OBDII — no module removal or internal CAN connection is needed.
Required equipment
- Abrites AVDI interface
- Abrites OBDII cable (SAE J1962) – CB106
- Windows PC with the latest Abrites Diagnostics for Toyota/Lexus/Scion Online software
- A working key for the vehicle
- A stable power supply connected to the vehicle
Connections
- Connect the AVDI to the CB106 cable.
- Connect the CB106 to the vehicle OBDII port.
- Connect the AVDI to the PC and confirm the software is online.
Important notes
- Have the working key to hand: the software asks for ignition ON with a working key once the ID Code Box special function is opened.
- When the connections are in place, continue to the Procedure.
