Diagnostics, coding and key programming for CAN based Mitsubishi vehicles
The Abrites Diagnostics for Mitsubishi covers the CAN based vehicles of the Mitsubishi group: standard diagnostics on every module, coding including writing the VIN, key programming - with or without a working key - a Dump Tool for working on a module's memory, and software updates for the vehicle's modules.
Required equipment
- Abrites AVDI interface, through the OBD-II connector
- A Windows PC, Windows 10 64-bit or newer
- For key programming: the vehicle PIN, and a HITAG (PCF7936) transponder in Password Mode
- For Simplified Key Registration: a TagProg or ProTag programmer
- For software updates: an internet connection and active AMS
Key programming works over CAN. Vehicles on K-Line are not supported. Most Grandis built after 2006 use CAN, but some use K-Line - those cannot be done.
