Diagnostics from a phone
MODI is a handheld interface that plugs into the vehicle's OBDII port and talks to your phone over Bluetooth. Two applications use it:

| MODI Mobile Diagnostics | Scans modules, reads and clears fault codes, shows live data, and - in Advanced mode - runs actuators and coding |
| VinReader | Reads VINs and odometer readings out of the modules, and checks the VINs against stolen-vehicle databases |
What you need
- The MODI device
- A phone or tablet: iOS 15.6 or newer, or Android 5.0 or newer
- Bluetooth on the phone
- A stable internet connection for the online parts
- A subscription - Basic or Advanced
For your safety, do not use the MODI device or the MODI application while driving.
