Reading, cloning and preparing transponders and keys
The Abrites TAG Key Tool works with the ProTag programmer on the bench, away from the vehicle. With it you can read and identify a transponder, clone a key, prepare a blank so that a car will accept it, and build a key out of an immobiliser dump.
Required equipment
- The ProTag programmer (ZN103) - earlier ZN002 units work the same way
- Abrites AVDI interface, configured and working
- A Windows PC, Windows 10 64-bit or newer
- A USB port able to supply 100 mA at 5 V ±5%
- An internet connection for the cloning types that need the calculation server
Keep the programmer away from metal objects and metal surfaces. Metal disturbs its field and the read comes back wrong or fails.
